- The surface part of CDs and DVDs are way too sensitive so you should not even touch it with your fingers. Make it a habit to hold them by the edge and in the center hole.
- There are proper ways to clean them. Ordinary cloth could scratch its sensitive surface so better look for special cloth to wipe them. Compressed air that you use in cleaning your laptop can also be used in blowing dust on your CDs/DVDs. When wiping these products, commence from inner recesses to the rim in one even fondle.
- Avoid crooking your CDs and DVDs.
- CDs and DVDs case are made with a center button for its easy removal. So, do not pull it out instead, simply push the button and it will pop and be removed in a gentle way.
